WHAT I DO

I design websites and apps that feel easy to use and give people a reason to trust you.

MY STORY

The story

I grew up on a farm in the Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal, the second of four siblings, in a house where creativity was just part of the furniture. My mum is a fabric designer, and we were always doing art from a young age.

I ended up doing a BA in Interaction Design at the Cape Town Creative Academy, where I learned that design isn't a visual skill — it's a thinking skill. Two years into designing professionally, I've had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients and projects, and I'm still learning fast.

Right now I'm working and travelling, taking on projects from wherever I happen to be. One thing I love above everything else is clarity — in the design, and between people. Good design is the difference between a product someone trusts on first click and one they abandon before they understand it.

HOW I WORK

Understand the business first

Before anything gets designed, I take time to understand you and your business — what problem are we actually solving, and for who? Timelines, fixed pricing, no hidden costs, and I keep you in the loop throughout. No surprises.

Structured, start to finish

Research, user flows, then Figma built around a component system and design system from day one. Then into reality — Framer, Webflow, or Shopify depending on what you need. You leave with reusable components and a style guide you can actually use.

Sweat the quiet details

Spacing, hierarchy, micro-interactions — the things most people don't notice are exactly what make someone trust a product. The difference between something that looks good and something that feels right lives in the details.

AI as a tool, not a shortcut

I use AI at every stage of my workflow — not to replace design thinking, but to sharpen it. It helps me move faster and keeps quality high, while the decisions and the craft stay mine.

Want to work together?

I'm currently taking on new projects. Let's see if we're a good fit.
